The Good Word

I am proud to have been part of the first Neighborhood Public Radio broadcast held in January of 2004 at 21 Grand in Oakland, CA. I had a short set to premiere my own religious themed radio show, called The Good Word, with me as a variation on my grandfather, Rev. Vernon Smythe. In this episode, the right reverend was talking about redemption along with his breakthrough, using puppets on the radio.

You can read more about NPR at the site run by Lee Montgomery. We did a broadcast on the Berkeley radio station one Sunday morning and it was glorious. I think one person listened.
