It probably all dates back to seeing the Unknown Comic on the Gong Show. Seeing the transformation that could happen in a person simply by putting a paper bag over one’s head forever altered my brain chemistry. I have been interested in alter egos ever since.
This site aims to present a collection of personalities I have explored on stage, in video, and through the sound of my voice.
My work (as an individual and in collaboration with others) has been included in exhibitions and screenings at the Sundance Film Festival, the Guggenheim Museum, Aurora Picture Show, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, The Lab, Southern Exposure, UCLA Hammer Museum, White Columns, Comedy Central, the Whitney Museum, San Francisco Sketch Fest, New York Comedy Festival, ANT Fest at Ars Nova, and the Chicago Comedy Festival, among many others including shows in basements, burlesque joints, bookstores, hotels, and multiple weddings.
