I was doing a lot of internet dating at the time, and this was my tribute to that form. The red head completely obscured my face as I went on “speed dates” with members of the audience. Our interactions were broadcast for the rest of the audience via a couple of mics. I performed this first in San Francisco at the Exploratorium and then later at Mills College for an evening of Erotica for Valentine’s Day event. None of my experiences resulted in any real dates.
